This oven is rated as Class 1, Group D suitable for use in hazardous atmospheres containing flammable vapors and solvents. A single hinged door with cam type latch opens fully for easy access to the work area. The interior is stainless steel with three adjustable stainless-steel shelves. There is an explosion relief panel with cage built into the rear wall. The blower is located under the floor of the oven. Heat is generated solely by this large blower system moving air. An air volume control damper is located on the front.

Located in a separate area below the work chamber are a Blue M non-electric proportional controller and non-electric overtemperature protection. Control is through a temperature sensitive bellows regulating a fresh air inlet to the blower wheel. A temperature indicating gauge is mounted on the front console. Explosion proof power off / on selector switch and Start push button station are also mounted in the console.
