Built in 2012 • Operated for only 4 months • Tray size: 30” x 30” • 26 Tray positions • Gross load per tray: 1500 lbs. • Maximum operating temperature: 1800F • 5 Zones of temperature and carbon control • 4 Fan units for temperature and atmosphere uniformity • Fan wheels made of Supertherm Alloy • Silicon carbide skid tile hearth • Gas fired heating system: Over and under “U” tubes made of Supertherm Alloy and Eclipse TFB Burners and S.S. Recuperators. • RA 333 Pusher heads • Atmosphere panel with nitrogen purge • Control system: Allen Bradley Control Logix L63 processor, Eurotherm Nanodac Temperature and Carbon Controllers, Allen Bradley PowerFlex VFD’s, and Remote I/O Stations • S.S. Hoods and ductwork including a powered exhaust blower • Return conveyors including a tray flipper • Atmosphere Controlled Holding Chamber: Gas fired radiant tubes • Shim stock ports and sight glasses • OSHA approved catwalk and access ladder. The work height is 27” plus a 2” thick tray for a total height of 29”.  This pusher line was built for press quenching gears.
